How do I use a credit card with PayPal?
PayPal accepts credit cards. Proceed through checkout and when you get to the Payment Method page select the PayPal option, then select the Finish button. On the Your Order Summary page select "Don't have a PayPal account". Then enter your credit card information with no spaces and your phone number as the example shown then click the Review Order and Continue button. If you already have a PayPal account select continue without logging in. On the Review Your Payment page, select the Pay Now button.  PayPal now has it's own credit card, go to http://www.paypal.com to order a PayPal credit card.

What size toggle bracelet should I order?
There are varying lengths of toggle bracelets available in different styles. When ordering a toggle bracelet it should 1/2" larger than your wrist size.

When can I expect to receive my order?
Please allow 7 to 10 business days to receive your package when paying by PayPal or credit card.

Do you make the jewelry on this site?
Most of the jewelry we offer is ordered from a wholesale jewelry supply company. We do have a few items available that we make, which will appear in the appropriate gemstone section or listed in the Unique Handcrafted Jewelry section of this site.

What does enhanced mean?
The stone has been altered in some way, such as, polished and/or waxed, and may have been heat treated to bring out the color in the stone.

What does reconstituted mean?
The stone has been ground to a powder and mixed with resin, then pressed into the shape of a stone.

What does simulated mean?
It is a fake stone, often dyed to look like a more expensive stone. We do not carry simulated stones in the jewelry we offer. See our blog for examples of simulated turquoise.

What is Antiqued Silver?
Antiqued silver is brass or some other metal that is silver plated. Antiqued silver is usually used in findings (components used in making jewelry) but you will find bracelets and other jewelry that is antiqued silver. This type of jewelry is suitable for earrings and necklaces. Antiqued silver is not a good choice for jewelry that gets a lot of wear, such as, rings and bracelets. We do not offer antiqued silver in the jewelry we carry.

What is Niobium?
Niobium is combined with silver to make a strong alloy. Niobium when electrically heated and anodized creates a wide array of colors. Niobium is beneficial in jewelry making due to its hypoallergenic properties. We offer Niobium jewelry in our handcrafted section that is made by Holly Yashi.

What is Argentium Silver?
Argentium 930 is never less than 93% silver and contains a touch of germanium. Argentium silver is highly tarnish resistant and requires almost no polishing. We offer a few chains in Argentium silver listed under the silver necklace category. All of the other jewelry on this site is .925 sterling silver jewelry.

What is Rhodium Plating?
Rhodium is a process to coat silver to prevent it from tarnishing. Rhodium is a highly desired metal that is more valuable than platinum. Do not use a silver cleaning agent or a polishing cloth on silver jewelry that is rhodium-plated. Rings that have a rhodium finish cannot be sized, it will ruin the rhodium finish.

What size chain should I order for a pendant?
The measurements listed on the product pages are the width of the chain not including the clasp. You should allow an extra 1mm for the chain to fit through the pendant. If you are not sure the chain will fit the pendant, use the contact us page and include the item numbers so we can check for you.

How do I know I am getting the best price?
We typically have the best price on the current market. If you come across an item we sell that costs less, it's because they bought the item when the price of silver and gold was low. Our prices will vary due to the current gold and silver market price.

How do I know I'm ordering genuine gemstone jewelry?
Silver Stones only carries natural gemstone jewelry set in sterling silver or 14k gold. There are many sites that say their item is turquoise but is actually a cheaper stone colored to look like turquoise. We examine every item before offering semi-precious gemstone jewelry on our site. There are many gemstones sold on he market that look like gemstone but are are actually CZs. We do not offer CZ jewelry unless the gemstone is accented with a CZ. We will specify in the item description what you are actually buying.

Please note: There are gold plated bracelets over brass on the market so be careful what you buy.

Our fine gemstone jewelry is of the highest quality you can buy. This is the same type of jewelry you would find in fine jewelry stores.
